I'm proud to live in Idaho. I've lived here for 44 years. The wide
open spaces, the potato fields, the sagebrush, the pines, the cattle and some mighty
fine people....but you always have to take some bad with all the good. Unfortunately,
Idaho is known by some as a campground for neo-nazi skinheads. For others,
Idaho has only 1.5 million people so....who cares?! And now, we have front page
coverage in every U.S. newspaper and top story billing about an Idaho Army deserter...really
sad. In 2009, Bowe Bergdahl decided that the U.S. Military and America were
all wrong and he alone was right. So one evening under the cloak
of darkness (when most evil is prevalent) Bergdahl decided to make new friends and
liaisons with the bad guys, the Taliban....it didn't take long for Ole' Bowe to
be eating out of a strange dish. The years passed and his parents and many others
increased the cry to "Free Bowe, Bring Bowe Home, Oh, Poor
Bowe!" I met his Dad and Mother two years ago at a rally for America's POW-MIA's....I
felt sorry for them. Now....I'm feeling betrayed. Bowe Bergdahl said "he hates
America and what it stands for,".....I'm pretty proud of this Country and the opportunities
it's provided to me. Bowe Bergdahl put others in danger and lives were lost, because
his Patriotic Brothers would not leave him behind....but he
didn't care. Now as I'm writing this, our State Department is clumsily trying to
discredit the soldiers that served with Bowe Bergdahl. So far, to a man, Bergdahl's
fellow soldiers have emphatically stated Bergdahl deserted and they say his
desertion caused lives to be lost because of searches for him....this is going to
get nasty. Obama traded five heinous despicable terrorist killers for a soldier
that walked away from his post! Oh my! That's not a good
deal! Possibly our State Department said, "Hurry! Let's cover it up and lay the
groundwork of discreditation on the soldiers that knew what Bergdahl did! Let's
claim Bergdahl's a hero, snatched into the jaws of the enemy for 5 years...Oh Poor
Bowe!" Everyone else is wrong....we, the State Department are right.
We traded bad guys for a knight in shining armor...BULL! I personally,
(and I'll stand behind and be proud of this statement) had Military people tell
me over two years ago that Bergdahl deserted and fellow soldiers were told to keep
quiet about it....Shhhh! Specialist Joe Fuller this morning confirmed he
was told NOT to discuss Bergdahl's desertion....why?? Our
own local newspaper, the Twin Falls Times News (Ho-hum) came out with an editorial
basically blaming the Republicans for another witch
hunt against Obama because of the stupid trade and the embarrassment it's causing.
Let's blame the source – Obama. This pathetic, insidious man has, in my opinion,
done everything he can to undermine our values, our Constitution and our National
security. These five terrorist Muslim killers with blood dripping from their hands,
WILL kill again and Obama is to blame – he ordered
this despicable trade! I lost some of my buddies from high school and college in
Vietnam. They didn't walk away from their post, they didn't send "I hate America"
messages home. They died fighting and serving as they were trained to do – they
served so that most of us didn't have to...they paid the ultimate...their lives.
It sickens me to think that Bowe Bergdahl has diminished their service.
Oh, I like cookies, especially sugar cookies...but I can live without them. I like
pies, like peach and pecan...but I can get through life without craving them. Candy?
Nahhh don't care for it...but don't you dare pass me by without offering me
"ICE CREAM"!!! I LOVE ICE CREAM!

JUST GIVE ME ICE CREAM! Vanilla Bean, Strawberry Swirl, Confetti
