Birthday parties are supposed to be fun. Lots of smiles, games, ice
cream, noise, laughter and in general, good times!...this one wasn't. America's
birthday party, to me, was very worrisome and negative and that's
a pathetic shame. Jerusalem with a "blow up" on the Palestinian border over the
deaths of innocent teenagers, the vile despicable cancerous encroachment of the
Muslim ISIS, killing just like wolves for the sake of just...killing! Our border
literally under siege from illegal alien children being used as pawns for
democratic political gain....fuel prices so high that getting family together is
going to cost everyone an "arm and a leg"! And...a "president" that's
slowly developed the attitude I predicted he would...one of being very clandestine
and self centered, telling Congress and the Country....Tough, if you don't like
it – sue me!...What a guy....What a "great leader"?? In my past,
the 4th of July, Independence Day USA, was sooo much fun and sooo
patriotic. I remember the hot humid Wisconsin 4th of July
parades our saddle club rode in, I remember the family picnics and the hand cranked
homemade ice cream, I remember at night going to the fireworks and laying back on
a blanket and hearing the "ooohs and aaaahs" of the crowd....and....I remember the
tears...tears flowing down the cheeks of many remembering those that died for...US.
Deanne and I spent a very quiet 4th by ourselves, somewhat of a respite from the
"daily hurry". Towards evening, we went in the house to have a light supper and
I "just happen" to turn the TV to the RFD channel...Wow...Wow! What a blessing!
The network was playing a repeat of "God Bless America, Again!" A compilation of
the best of aging Country Stars singing the most patriotic songs ever recorded...my
eyes are still watering. So many stars singing prideful songs of this great Country.
I didn't want it to end. I love this country. America has helped and propelled
ME into the person I am today and has provided ME
with opportunities that I thank God for every day. I could not fight for this Country
during Vietnam because of my legs. But...I'll fight for her now....regardless
of "what's politically correct" or not! I'm mad...Yes, mad at how we've
lost our pride and yes, love, for this blessed land...How dare ANYONE
try to diminish the values this land of opportunity has provided for over 230 years!
As I watched an interview the other evening with disgusting and vile Bill Ayers,
terrorist killer from the 70's and NOW a college professor
AND friend to Barrack Obama!!!!....I was outraged, yes,
outraged that this vermin is still here and thriving in OUR
Country that he supposedly "hates"???.... "God Bless America, Again"?...Why
should He? We've turned our back on Him and the values that made
US the best in the world! Yes...THE BEST!
I'm proud to live with the BEST in the BEST LAND
EVER, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!...American
exceptionalism? You're damn right and I have no use whatsoever
for anyone that thinks differently! I believe in God, I believe that Jesus
IS my Savior, I believe this Country IS
exceptional...and WE CAN be again. Go ahead...call me corny
and old fashioned, call me opinionated, call me narrow minded and arrogant...call
me anything you want to...but please....also call me an American – because I'm
PROUD of it!!!
Obama's "self designed" border "problem" is despicable, as is the man that planned
it. Using little children as political pawns is revolting. I absolutely
commend our citizens on the border towns for turning back the
buses of illegals and saying "Enough"! Our Country is like the Titanic, the more
water it takes on the faster it will sink...and we are sinking! Please write your
congressman and senators and TELL them – NO MORE,
STOP THIS INSANE LAW BREAKING NOW! Barrack Obama
must be thwarted....He must be impeached. He must be tried as a criminal and traitor
to these United States, and... "We, the People" have got to regain
control!
