"Yaaah....Yaaah, Git up there....Yaaah!" The horses lean into their
harness and the stage coach begins to roll westward. Then....a few moments later,
"Yaaah....Yaaah, Git up there boys!"....the second stagecoach starts its trek westward
following the first. What's going on here?? Very simple, President Ulysses S.
Grant is headed to California to visit friends and have a party fundraiser. So...what's
the second stage for? Well, that's simple, you taxpaying bumpkins, the second
stage is for his wife, Julia...she doesn't want to ride with Ulysses! WHAT?!?!?
WE, the taxpayers of this United States are paying for 2 stagecoaches,
2 teams of horses, 2 separate units of bodyguards and Secret Service, all of this
doubled to go to the same location!! Why?? Well, "dah", it's simple. The
First Lady's schedule is "out of sync" with the president's and she doesn't
want to be bothered with his stops on the return trip!... Fast forward 145
years...that is exactly what just happened with Barack and Michelle Obama...only
difference is the Multi-Million Dollar Costs! CRAZY...exorbitant
costs that "We, the People" are on the hook for because spoiled, arrogant,
selfish Michelle doesn't want to travel with her "Hawaiian Sweetie"!! YIKES!
Each jet cost approximately $200,000 per hour to operate, plus separate security
staffs, White House personnel, Secret Service "Popeyes", hair dressers, makeup artists,...(they'd
have to be "artists" to make Michelle look good!), special armored
vehicles, and 2 sets of "go-fers" for this and that, double
the security planning so Michelle can go her separate way...the list of costs
to "We, the People" taxpayers goes up, up and away!!...In Grant's day, they probably
paid the shotgun guard on the coach a total of $15 bucks for the whole trip! All
of this cost and all of this waste so pouty, sullen, impudent Michelle
can go...but her own way! While most of us are really struggling
to make ends meet or trying to keep some coins for retirement, this
"Odd Couple" of means spend our money in lavish and extravagant fashion…"Hey, Michelle!
Wanna go to California? Call Ray Bagby over in Declo, he builds stagecoaches!"
Last week, I jotted some lines about birds and their ability to fly in groups of
1000's and not have a 150 bird pileup! And as I write this letter –I am
thoroughly convinced, that birds, all birds, regardless of the species, are
smarter and more devious than US humans.. HOW
do they know the minute that I drive into my yard, that I have just recently spent
the time, effort and money to have my vehicle washed, waxed and looking sparkling
"new"! What do they have for lookouts, or sentries to communicate with the bird
squad leaders to send a flock immediately to open the "Bombay bowel doors"
and totally "splotch" my 4-wheel wonder into a "YUUUCK" appearance
….WE are supposed to be "Superior" but...THEY
ARE WINNING.

And not one of them has said they're offended!
