We all want our children to grow up and prosper and have a great life.
Hopefully, they can learn from us, what to do and what not to do. The Good
Lord knows that I've made many mistakes and very bad choices in my life, but with
age, there comes a time of facing and forgiving your past and hopefully,
enjoying your remaining years God has provided. So... why...WHY are we being so blind, so lazy, so stupid...to let "sleaze
and evil" take over the leadership of our great land...? Think about this... "if"
Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi AND
some Republicans lived 250 years ago when this nation was being formed...they,
with their "Sleaze and Evil" would have been put in stocks and tarred and feathered
– then RUN OUT OF THE COUNTRY! MMMM...that's a good idea for
now too! "The Sleaze and Evil" in politics and our everyday lives is beyond
comprehension...and WE allow it! We've lost our pride and
personality that made America great...but now...we're as disgusting as a
truck stop bathroom! WE complain and discuss how terrible
and criminal other world leaders are...but we have the same despots
running and ruining America! There is absolutely NO
way, NO how that Hillary Clinton should be considered a
potential president – NONE! She is not qualified to any
degree, she's a crook, a fraud, mean, selfish, sinister, a liar, and extremely arrogant...and
those may be her only "good" points! If "these" "low-lives" are the
best we can put on the "playing field of politics"...darn right our kids are getting
the dirty end of the stick! There is NO WAY a Democrat
or a Republican can be proud of the "Sleaze and Evil" we've put in Washington, D.C.
….I'm ashamed of the whole "stinking" bunch! Scandals, cheating, money laundering,
graft, corruption...WE are better than this...but...WE
do and say...NOTHING! Back in the 60's, Russian Premier
Nikita Khrushchev said "America will fall without a shot being fired",...We
are falling and We deserve it!
This past week, we celebrated a 90 year birthday party for an American hero –
Russell Smith of Burley, Idaho. At the monthly gathering of "Zeb's
Lunch Bunch", Denny's Restaurant was all decked out in red, white and blue to honor
OUR 3-time recipient of the Purple Heart for his courage
and valor in WWII. The event was wonderful, starting off with a military color
guard presenting our colors, all the way to Burley, Idaho Mayor Merlin Smedley proclaiming
that April 23, 2015 is and will always be "Russell Smith Day". I was moved to tears
of appreciation when Linda Croft sang our National Anthem, and I stood with
great pride alongside members of the military that were there representing every
branch of our service...it was a great party of recognition and appreciation for
a hero...MY hero...Russell Smith. God
Bless you, Russell and "THANK YOU" for what you
did and what you provided for me...I'm forever grateful!
