Have microphone...did travel! From Bakersfield, California to
Gladstone, New Jersey, from Jacksonville, Florida to Longview Washington...my career
has taken me on a "wild ride" for over 44 years! So many memories, so many good
people that became great friends...it's really difficult to close that "portion
of the book" on my life. As of this writing, I'm officially, well...almost 99 9/10%
retired from packing a suitcase, and making rental car agreements. No more "scrambles"
to catch a connecting flight to Denver that left 5 minutes before I got to the gate,
no more being "sandwiched" between 2 huge corpussally sumo wrestler types that have
a penchant of releasing odorous gasses! No more groping from TSA agents that really
were better qualified to clean porta potties after a high school reunion...no more
"ditsy hotel desk clerks" that have the personality of a Diet Pepsi can...no more
cab drivers that drive north and west to finally get to the coliseum that's located
in the southeast section of town!...no more lost baggage, no more
loneliness from being "on the road" for 3 weeks, ...no more...no...more! I'm going
to "miss" it! Last Tuesday night I was inducted into the Spanish Fork, Utah "Fiesta
Days" Hall of Fame. I announced that rodeo for 27 of its 74 year existence. Recently,
the committee and city rebuilt the entire rodeo grounds complex and the 9,000 seat
"stadium" and entire facility is one of the best ever in the U.S. Both Deanne
and I were provided VIP seats and as always for 74 years, the rodeo was great! Just
after the barrel racing event,...TV cameras, photographers and many of the committee
gathered in front of our box seats and they honored me with a stunning gold and
silver belt buckle and plaques of appreciation...I wept. So many people came by
to shake my hand and give me a hug (Deanne, too!), the whole evening was so special...it's
hard,.. really hard to accept the fact that it is over......no more........
Lefty and not a
real "sharp knife" Alan Colmes from Fox News has the
profound ability to enrage me! His boneheaded inept "snarky" remarks
PROVE that most liberals have the I.Q. Of a box of rocks! The
other evening on "The Kelly File", he tried to tell everyone that the Muslims
that are killing, bombing and terrorizing ARE NOT REAL Muslims
- - they're just "bad guys" using the loving, kind, caring faith....horse....feathers!
False statements and smoke screens from the "looney-left" are going to get us killed!
It's past time we started to deal with the problem as it is...the
Islamic faith has never liked us, the infidels, and we need to go
on "offense" now, before it's the 4th quarter and too late for America!
Don't forget Dr-History.com! Exciting episodes of the old West!! Now in 101 countries...101!!
And not one of them has said they're offended!
