Lock your doors and windows...24-7-365! You may have heard of the recent
home invasion, where a young Mom was upstairs feeding her baby, and moments later
had to fight men who were bent on killing HER! Well, they (the
thugs) "saddled the wrong horse!" 21 year old Samantha Bruce is a combat medic
in the National Guard and she had a gun and she knew how to
use it! The two worthless invaders kicked in her door and Samantha met them at
the top of the stairs and a blazing gunfight ensued. Despite being shot twice,
Samantha crawled back to check on her baby and then called 911...and then began
treating her wounds! Samantha is still in the hospital in serious condition with
one more surgery expected - - we pray for her full recovery!

READ THIS CAREULLY and THINK!!...the aforementioned
story can happen to you or a member of your family. This past week, a very good
friend of mine raised the hair on the back of my neck with this! My friend
came home after lunch, laid down on the sofa to take a nap. Some strange noises
awoke him and as he stumbled to his feet, he was face to face with two strangers
in his house – robbing his house!! The thieves ran out and jumped into their
vehicle and sped away. Like most of us, the event happened so fast,
accurate descriptions and a license number were not remembered!...the bad
guys got away...broad daylight...in his home...while he's there!
I'm taking
major precautions. I'm locking my doors and windows day and night, while at home
or away. If someone knocks on your door – DO NOT OPEN it until
you are satisfied you know who they are and what they represent...to all others...Adios!
Don't tell anyone except law enforcement or a vigilant neighbor when you're going
to be gone or for how long. Be sure and have that "trusted" neighbor collect your
mail and newspapers on a daily basis, and, ask them to do a "walk-around" to be
certain doors are locked and windows shut. "WATCH",...look around
and observe your environment...mmmm that red car has been parked there for
the past few days with two people just...sitting in it! RED
FLAG! Call the cops and demand that they check these gents out
immediately!
If you don't have a gun...buy one! Learn how to
use
the gun – take a shooting, safety course but know how to use the gun. I'll
stop right here and say this – I think it's absolute hogwash to have an empty gun,
locked up with ammo in another location in your home! Think about the young Mom,
thank God she knew what to do and how to shoot! What might have happened
"if" she had to unlock a gun box, unlock the trigger guard and go to another room
to get the ammo?!?!?...She and her baby son, very likely would have been killed.
My guns are...ready. So is my thought process...I've rehearsed it many times...WHAT
will I do and how. Home invasions are becoming much more prevalent and you need
to rehearse, much like preparation for a big storm, what action must be taken. I
will say this...anyone who breaks into my home with the intent of bodily injury
and theft to my property, may enter vertically but they will leave horizontal! Evil
people with criminal intent are of NO value to me...they
will be taken out!!
