What is "good" today? Go ahead...please define what is "good" today?? I need to know...because I sure can tell you WHAT is evil! Look around you and your lil' corner of the world, come on...really look. What is "good" anymore? The following are my opinions, make your own list.

Good is going to church on Sunday morning and really...really feeling God's presence in your life...Good is having your spouse reach out and touch your arm or hold your hand to let you know all is well...Good is looking and really seeing the Creation around you, whether it's the distant mountains rising up from the valley floor or the amazement of skyscraper buildings piercing through the blue sky into God's Heaven.

Good is a laugh...a real hard laugh with a friend that will also be with you when you cry...Good is the inner peace and warmth you feel when family gathers to celebrate a holiday...Good is "looking" in your rear view mirror at a life that had a lot of potholes, but through perseverance and faith in God, the road ahead looks like it was just repaved...Good is having your favorite horse walk up to you and put his head on your arm as if to say... "Howdy Friend"...Good is having your son call and say "Hey, I haven't heard from you for a few days, are you OK???",...that lump in your throat feels mighty good!

Good is hearing the doctor say that your tests are optimistic and better days lie ahead...yup... there is a lot of "good" still today...But...evil is always here ...always growing, evil is trying harder than ever to take over all the "good" and destroy it...stomp on it! WE must try harder every day to promote and push for good to be present in our lives...because without good...life is a black hole with no hope...look for "good" today and embrace it!

I should have been a farmer. When I get on my Ferguson tractor, I feel like I've bonded with an old friend. Oh, to be sure, we've had our mishaps and possible life threatening experiences...but we're still functional. Yes...I do remember crashing through the arena fence while waving at a neighbor. Yes, I can recall running over a 50 gallon oil barrel and tipping "Fergy" over...it ended well...after help from my disaster awareness neighbor. Yes...I do have flashbacks of my harrow "catching" on to my arena fence and destroying a lot of blood, sweat and tears effort. Yes, sir...I should have been a farmer...sweet memories! See you next week!

Don't forget Dr-History.com! Exciting episodes of the old West!! Now in 110 countries...110!! And not one of them have said they're offended!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Our Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.

Dear Lord: Please Bless and heal this land with your grace and power.
Help us to realize YOU are in charge as you were, as you are now and like
you'll be in the future. Forgive us for "straying off the trail" of what's right
and what's wrong and help us to appreciate what you've blessed us with,
the greatest Country in the world...America!
In Jesus Name.....Amen
