Oh boy...here we go...I know this Cowpies will offend some...maybe many! I hate to lose. From Tiddlywinks as a child, to pinochle as an adult...I hate to lose. I had polio in 1952 and along with my sister, almost died. I was just 5 years old, very scared, and oblivious as to "what" was ahead for my future. Mom and Dad did the best they could for my sibling and me, but at the time, there was so much about polio that wasn't known - - a lot was "guestimation".
After the first year of being totally dependent on my parents for every movement, I started physical therapy sessions. These sessions and the nurse that coached me, changed my life forever. The nurse's message of "get tough – be tough" really didn't sink in until years later...but it's helped me get to where I am today. Not to bore you, Dear Reader, but I was taught to "do it yourself" along with "try" and then "try harder". For a long time, I felt sorry for myself...oh, woe is me...Wah Wah!...life's too hard...let someone else do it for me....God works in strange ways. I had consistently bad grades my freshman year of college "D's" and "F's" and I went home to get a job as a "plate maker" for offset printing presses - - oh, yeah...dream job....I lasted less than a year...I knew I could do better.
Long story short, I enrolled in a broadcasting and communications school, Brown Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota...to this day I know God was pushing me! My attitude and my life changed forever! Believe it or not, I used to be a "shrinking violet", shy, and afraid to speak out... "Ho Boy"...since 1967 I've been one of the most competitive, don't get in my face, I'm going to "win" persons you've ever met...and I don't apologize! With God's help I have achieved and exceeded all of my goals. My uncle said "You are no better than anyone else,..BUT..no one is better than you!"...I have proudly lived by that statement.
Okay...why did I write all this? Simple...America needs to go BACK to my uncle's statement. Be kind, gentle, giving and respectful (when necessary) BUT...NEVER...ever let anyone or any group walk on you or attempt to hurt you! NO THANKS to this Obama administration, we are NOW a "Welcome Doormat" to the entire world.
Look and listen to the dilemmas facing us right now. North Korea "telling and showing" us how they're going to kill us, ISIS expanding and killing in new areas of the world daily...with their main target here in the U.S., Russia basically sneering at the West, inviting provocation, Mexico taking our jobs and companies and giggling all the way to the bank...our colleges and universities with left wing ideologues preaching and teaching to our kids that capitalism and earning a living is bad..the younger millennials that basically do not know "come here from sic' em"...are out protesting in the streets against our value system...they don't know and have not had the teaching or responsibility to even know about values – these are snot-nosed little punks that need a good kick in the... and go get to work!
I've worked hard, very hard all of my life to be successful and achieve my goals. I'm not about to sit back and say "nothing" about the sleazy, pathetic "left" trying to take us over. WAKE UP READER and remember what this great land has provided YOU! STAND UP, SAY something, DO something! Don't let America and it's greatness die!
