I just got off the phone with a good friend, Charlie Howell, a Jerome County Commissioner. We talked the pros and cons of politics and our thoughts of how and by what standard should political "contestants" adhere to. Both of us agreed that the "perfect" candidate has never been or ever will be. I must admit that I get a little hot around the collar when I hear people say "Nope...can't vote for Him...I don't like his stand on immigration or the economy"...when at the same time they do agree with the candidate on National Security and energy!
My point is this: any candidate or any position will probably NEVER fall in lockstep with everyone's laundry list...and to say "I'm not going to vote because "so and so" doesn't get an A+ on all my issues...is silly and a cop-out. I personally am NOT happy with the front-runner choices of either party.
In regards to Hillary Clinton, it goes without wasting a lot of ink that I think she is an arrogant, untrustworthy, lying and deceitful woman who's only intent is to be a dominant, dictatorial, power monger. Her evil, scandalous problems have and would be huge detriments to our nation. From her insidious involvement in money schemes to Benghazi – her blatant malfeasance with State Department e-mails to just simply lying to the public.....Hillary is a low quality Blue Light Special at K-Mart that NO ONE should want...ever...as president!
NOW... Donald Trump. Soooo many words in Webster's dictionary almost describe what he is and what his personality projects. He can and has been an ass, a jerk, an ego-maniac, pompous, self-righteous and a buffoon...and to some, "those" are his stronger qualities. However, I'm not interested in the political correctness or the suave, debonair attitude of a polished "palm greased" politician.... I want change in America and I want it NOW. I don't care if Trump creates a gasp of "who does he think he is!"...as long as HE puts America FIRST and FOREMOST...WHERE WE SHOULD BE!
I don't like, never have, playing for consolation prize... "Whoop De Do, ain't that something to be proud of!" We as Americans are in the game of life, liberty and National Security...I really don't care if the guard dog is a Doberman or a Dachshund as long as it bites hard to protect US! We know what we'll get with "Evil Hillary", so I'm ready to play poker with Trump to get America back in the game!! Let's put aside the petty gripes and "WahWah's" and help fight to make this land great again!
Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 8th. Simple put...I really miss my Mom and all the great phone conversations regarding memories of the past. DO NOT miss this opportunity to call or be with your Mother as much as you can...the sand does fall through the hourglass much too quickly.
