Easter Sunday was a very special and memorable day. Deanne and I went to our church
Sunrise Service to praise and honor the Resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
It was a glorious service, lots of smiles and a heartfelt message from Pastor Alex.
Then home we ran, to have a delicious brunch with my daughter Tobee and her family.
Wow! 'Goober' really did a whale of a job on that brunch - big juicy baked ham,
cheesy potatoes, scrumptious strawberries and peaches and cinnamon rolls!...Oh my!
After the brunch, we all headed for the arena and roped for the next 3 hours. What
a day! But, there was something more. After we were done ropin' and unsaddled
the horses, we all sat around in front of the barn...just visiting. I looked around
at my grandsons ropin' the dummy and the other kids trying to catch butterflies,
and I watched the "faces" of family as we shared stories together. That's when I
thought...This is too good to lose to government rules, regulations and spending...WHAT?
Yup! The animal rights activists do not want anyone to ride horses, or rope steers,
or pursue any animal usage events. The Obama government has wanted gas to skyrocket
so their 'dumb' green energy can be forced upon us and we won't be able to
go anywhere. The wonderful, delicious food that we enjoyed Easter
is hated by the "Food Police" and they will do their 'darndest' to stop you from
eating anything but a gray mush from a tube! You see, we're losing
the Normal Rockwell Saturday Evening Post "Covers of America", because of inflationary
costs and bureaucratic regulations! Don't let this happen...Do not vote for Barack
Obama...Do not vote for any person tied to the platform of the Democratic
Party!...in my opinion they are evil, sinister people bent on destroying
America!
More gun control legislation will
be coming 'down the mountain' in
the not too distant future stemming from the Martin Case in Florida. This case will
be, in my opinion, a stone through another window to take more rights away from
legal responsible gun owners. Whether its curtailing the production of ammunition
or the outright blatant confiscation of our guns all shapes and sizes – gun
control will get sooo much tougher! I believe a "gestapo" attitude will permeate
all of America on many issues if Obama gets repositioned as "King". I am
not a 'gun enthusiast'. I really don't enjoy target shooting. I go hunting
very rarely (deer hunting twice in last 20 years) and I'm not into owning every
type and caliber that was ever manufactured. What I am is a person that believes
in personal protection of my property, my livestock and above all, my family! What's
mine is mine and I will not let you take it or destroy it...at that point
your life means nothing to me. I've thought long and hard about "pulling
the trigger" and yes, I can and will. Right now, this
very moment in America, someone's life is being threatened and their
property is being stolen by bad people that could not care less about
morals or the Ten Commandments or the LAW! So, we all need to 'educate' them
on what they will or won't do to us and they only get one opportunity to PASS
THE TEST – no repeat exams! Comprende?
