“You gotta dance with the gal you brought to the party” - - - or so the old saying goes. Not true with the GOP and Donald Trump. They, the GOP, brought him to the “dance” and then dumped him and they go stand by the punchbowl. The GOP was so frightened Trump would go “Rambo” and create an independent voter siege on America, they made him sign a pledge to be a good Boy Scout and stay in the “corral of the GOP”. Well...Trump was not the best lookin’ stud horse in the herd (among 16 others) and the GOP elitists thought he’d be one of the first culls, wrong!
One by one, the “16” fell and were diminished to grazing on old pastures. Then finally, one was left in the “pen” to represent the awestruck and dumbfounded GOP Guard... Donald Trump! With his scornful scowl, his hair combed in a ridiculous back and forth, over and under, and his New York “street slang” offending almost everyone...he was the Republican nominee. Uh-oh...bad day at Black Rock!
The GOP began having major palpitations and started circling the wagons...a tad too late! The GOP elite (snobs!) began “pawing the ground” and started the cry of “Dump Trump”...”we’ll lose our cushy seats in congress and have to go home and get a real job!”...OH NO!! “They” may have to become again...REAL PEOPLE!! With the chattering of teeth and frightful eyes, they disavowed any allegiance to Trump, hoping and praying...Trump would just...go away! He has not.
The cowardice, the lack of “honoring their word”, the turncoat attitude, their absolute chicken !?!?! attitude will condemn the GOP to a slow death of non-existence. This hurts me to say...more than you know...Hillary Clinton is probably 99% assured of winning the presidency...I’m praying that the 1% will still have a “chance” of sending her to the “Granny chair”...one can only hope.
The Republicans have failed, miserably, to be what we wanted. A party of conviction, a party of defining good and bad, yes or no and stand tough and firm with their promises to their constituents ...they have not...they are embarrassing!...”You gotta dance with gal you brought to the party”...not the GOP, none of ‘em know how to dance!
Hold onto your guns and ammo...soon there will another assault on the 2nd Amendment... and it’s going to be rough. If Hillary becomes the “Anointed Queen”, our gun rights and our personal protection will go away...along with all of our American values and freedoms. DO what you have to do, hide what you have to hide..but never...NEVER...cave into a government that takes away what others have died for in the past. Knock, knock...who’s there?? Don’t open the door!!
