We went out to eat last night with some dear friends. The enjoyment of an evening "out" has been very seldom as of late, and we looked forward to it. The restaurant was crowded, good business, good food and our table was right across a narrow aisle from a party of 20! I must say that I do NOT mind sitting next to groups of people...if they stay out of my space! I despise people "looming" over me as I try to dine, I can't stand (and won't) children running back and forth by my table, I really get exasperated when adults or children continually kick or walk on my crutches that are tucked away UNDER my chair! I will not tolerate someone sneezing or coughing or blowing their nose while standing 18 inches from me! YUK, GO AWAY!! One of the little urchins kept doing jumping jacks and acted somewhat as a human pogo stick right by our salt shakers...after 2 minutes of this I told the whelp to go sit down...NOW! He gave me a look of "no one has ever talked to me that way" and moved out of my firing range area. Had he stayed there...two very bad circumstances would have occurred...one, the young man's face would been put on a milk carton as LOST and last seen petting yaks at a zoo in Siberia. Two, the father and mother may have realized that their parenting skills were being questioned and would they please leave and go converse with their friends out in the middle of the Baltic Sea! I despise stupid, rude people at a restaurant allowing their cute cuddly brats that treat the dining area as a playground...disgusting! The meal was great, the service was exceptional, but the environment was a combination of Custer's last stand and a fraternity gathering...by my table! So, the next time we go out to eat with some dear friends...leave us alone, put everyone in your group on a bus and go to McDonalds...PLEASE!!

Don't forget Dr-History.com! Exciting episodes of the old West!!

Dear Lord: Please Bless and heal this land with your grace and power.
Help us to realize YOU are in charge as you were, as you are now and like
you'll be in the future. Forgive us for "straying off the trail" of what's right
and what's wrong and help us to appreciate what you've blessed us with,

In Jesus Name.....Amen
