Yes.......Deanne and I were in Arizona for three weeks. Yes.....the weather was fantastic. Yes.....it is hard to come home and "slip the harness on" and get back to work! This trip, more so than any others in recent years, was much more than a vacation, it was a time for healing. I had been experiencing some major problems since November, and the diagnosis was not known. It seemed like every week, a new medicine was prescribed and proved to be worthless. Going into the New Year, I was, at certain times, feeling so low I would have had to crawl up on a rock to kick a snake in the belly! Then the too frequent trips to various doctors and even some late night runs to the ER...still NO answers, NO solutions. Then, just two weeks before we were to leave on our trip to warmer climes, I had the worst of the "attacks" and back to the ER again! That was a blessing because the doctor handling my case finally found the problem and had answers!! Less than three days later, I started to feel like "Ole Zeb" and plans were reimplemented to head for the Grand Canyon State! Some of the "Medicos" didn't want me to go...but it was a blessing I did! After a couple of days of 75 degrees and sun and some relaxing, I was ready for the bell to ring and come out fighting! God really blessed me and healed me and Goober and I had fun...FUN!!! We met so many really nice folks from Montana, Texas, California, Missouri and Canada, hopefully they will be a part of our "friend force" forever. To all of you that read my weekly blog...I'm back, I'm doing great and I look forward to many more "Cowpies and Coffee Cups". God Bless all of you and THANK YOU for being our friends!
