YOU are very important to someone....everyone is! You have a value, a need, a worth to someone! Whether it’s a friend, a family member or a total stranger, if anyone does not value or respect you...walk away! There’s an old cowboy adage that says exactly that – “I walk away from people that do not value or respect me – they may not know my worth...But I do!” Too many people today have an elitist or an “I’m better than you” attitude, and frankly, they are the losers. Recently, I had a friend that did not care about a frank discussion on an issue that really bothered me and...he cut and ran. It was really too bad that discussion lost and friendship ended. But sometimes people forget the Biblical admonition of forgiving 70 x 7 (Matthew Chapter 18 VS 21-22). Every single day there is and there will be an opportunity to use 70 x 7” for the betterment of all situations. I’m as guilty as anyone...but instead of just walking away...maybe we should walk toward each other.
